Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Independent Age. Our volunteers play an important role in us being able to achieve our goal of improving the lives of older people facing financial hardship.

Eligibility  
At the moment you must be at least 18 years old to volunteer for Independent Age and be of State Pension age to volunteer as a LEAP member. Please confirm below that you are of State Pension age:
You can volunteer in the UK if you have one of these: the right to work in the UK, a visa that allows volunteering, refugee or asylum seeker status. Do you have one of these?
The majority of our communication with LEAP panel members is via email and we prefer to hold our discussions online. Do you have an email address, and are you able to participate in video calls?

All personal information shared will be kept secure and confidential. We ask that all volunteers respect the privacy of others by keeping information shared within the group private.

This helps ensure a safe, supportive, and trusted environment for everyone involved.

As a LEAP Member, we will periodically contact you relating to your role and to keep you informed about Independent Age, in line with our Privacy Policy.
